This was originally a St Joseph school called Oak Grove Elementary. When the school closed,
the building was sold, remodeled, a basement added and became Oak Grove Chapel
The pastor of the church was Bertha Mae Short from 1960-1980 until she passed away in December 1980
Her daughter, Glenda Chapman, took over as Pastor then until 2000 or 2001 when the building was sold to another church that was owned by the Pentecostals of St. Joseph
They used it as a youthcenter
